Crowell HSCC Double Champion!

John Crowell has ended a successful first year in racing with double class victories in Historic Sports Car Club Championships!

Following a year of one-to-one coaching in 2010 with Tim Arnold in a standard Lotus Elise, John Crowell decided to purchase the ex-Amanda Whittaker 1971 Elden MK8 Formula Ford and compete in both the Historic Formula Ford Championship and the Formula Ford Class in the Classic Racing Cars Championship. Despite a few setbacks during the season including a big shunt at Snetterton that required the Elden to undergo a complete rebuild, John has won his class in both Championships!

With ongoing coaching through the 2011 season from Tim, utilising both the Lotus Elise on track days and a Video VBox data logger for back-to-back runs on test days, JC was able to acheive consistenly better results than his main rivals, resulting in his two class championship wins in his racing debut year!
